I am from brazil, and as brazilian cat sailor I will say that we kill for anoppotunity to buy top class catamarans, all we do for now is sail our olds HC 14 and 16 and dream with all those f18 reggatas around the world, I dont know if the ISAF will pick the tornado again for the olympics, or the f18 class, but all we dream about is that the cat manufatures take some new catamarans to RIO so we brazilians may sail real boats.

Hi Eduardo
You must start sailing now!
The A-Class class is starting there right? you need an F18 class going asap too!
In Chile, Uruguay and Argentina the class is growing strong and we are forming high performance cat sailors from the base.
In Rio 2016 we'll have cats again for sure.
Martin
Hey Martin, it is good to have someone to give some advices. But in the next couple years I will leave Brazil, mainly because I will go to college in Australia, and the second reason is because I am tired of just dreaming with all these top class boats, hopefully in the next years I will be out there sailing my new f18, and working as a naval engineer.
You mentioned the A-CLass cats, I spoke with the guy who was making the Acats here in Brazil a couple months ago, but the boats wasnt that good, and the price was to high.

Eduardo said everything!
Here we have some olds Hc,
but is one of the most movimented
association of hc 16 in world.(ABCHC)
Day 8 whe will be in travel to João Pessoa/Paraíba to race North/Northeast competition.
A good challenge, but some of the best sailor in Brasil live in Northeast region.
The "A" class made here(Salvador/Bahia)is not the beast…and this price =/
"In Rio 2016 we'll have cats again for sure."
I Hope so!!!!
yvidal, I am from Joao Pessoa, I will not compete because I just broke my rudder this week, and will take one week to arrive here
