AC45s at Plymouth: Bundock onboard Oracle 5

Last time I asked, Darren Bundock  (pictured left at the guest position, image from today’s training)confirmed he was coaching Oracle, and now it seems  he is working on a contract, hope long term. Today on the practice races Coutts team with Bundy onboard had the best performance of the day, from americascup.com : “In foggy conditions and light breezes, the teams took part in three
practice races this afternoon, with Russell Coutts’s team winning the
day after coming 5th in the first race and 2nd in the next two. Loick
Peyron and Energy Team will be pleased to have scored 2nd and 3rd from
the first two heats before deciding not to compete in the last race.”

No wonder the best teams look for the best specialists, TNZ has Ahsby and Oracle may have Bundock at the helm on Oracle 5 in the future. It was about time…. check full insight interview I made with Darren here .
