A-Class Foil Flashback: 2015 Worlds by Nick Bowers

I’m at the Arg Coast right now spending some vacations with family, and teaching the kids how to surf. All quite in the Catsailing World right now, while reviewing some old Wave Warriors / Pottz footage (although my style today is more Endless Summer like… ) to show the kids, I came across this gem filmed by Nick Bowers at Punta Ala Worlds 2015.

I was there reporting and taking pics, and glad I went as it has become an historic regatta for the A-Class, with Mischa & Glenn battling for the Title while lapping great part of the fleet, it was hard to watch sometimes but seeing these two monster flying compensated the scenario.

The DNA 2015 with DS still performs pretty well, we have a couple here in Arg.

Mischa gave away the DS mainsail advantage sailing it two weeks before the Worlds, where he destroyed Ashby by minutes. Afterr that regatta Glenn just did a re cut to his standard sail and could match the Flying Dutch’s performance at Worlds venue in perfect Punta Ala conditions.
