Nacra 17 Tokyo Olympics: Day 3 Results

A bit late on results as went to the club with Family, and one the kids got his first Opti to start racing in some weeks. At Enoshima the logic scenario is being taking place, with Tita & Banti leading. The Mighty Italian team had a key day in light winds, a rather weak point in past years.

All the top performers in the top 5 places. We spoke plenty on Kohlhoff-Stuhmelher and also on Tara Pacheco & FLorian Trittel. Jason & Lisa scored a bullet and are close to podium too. Nothing defined yet.

The Arg team not as consistent as they need to be against these powerful Top Guns. Lange reported Ceci had some back issues today in light winds, the first day was that Ceci had handling problems… Details must be keep for the team and not assigning or pointing a sole source of problems to the Press that much. Nacra 17 is a team effort at its Best. Conditions were 5knots in the first race building a bit.

Still we think the Rio Gold Medalist are a step behind the top five. But you never have to discount such experienced sailors, specially Ceci Carranza, who has endured an incredible transition coming from Laser and adapting to be a first Class crew with Lange.

We are confident Ceci will keep delivering everything she has in the remaining races and Lange needs to put up his performance to match the consistency and low scores of the leaders, to give themselves a chance of podium.
