In the Wand / T Foil / Flap system recreational foilers Michael Miller with the iFly won the division against S9s and Whispers. The iFly features a soft wing by Giulio Iviani. The S9 has now a Jib and the Whisper is a double handed foiler. All using same base T Foil / wand systems.
Later more details with Michael Miller on the races. Still we think all these are recreational foilers, but surely lots of fun racing against each other or OD. If they pretend to target the A-Cat as a performance racer they will need to destroy them in the racing course.
The Easy To Fly, the 3 handed foiler in fleet racing, seems to be getting some momentum, lets see how big that fleet can grow, it is as far as we know a pretty expensive Cat.
On the Monohull foilers…. seeing those extra large width foils all over the place remind me of the initial foiling attempts by the sail flight pioneers, even the 69F is now foiling with both main foils down, the info I have is for easy foiling mode and when speed is targeted they fly with one up. At least the 69F we know is getting really high numbers on boats speed, so we guess it will kill any floating counter part in most or any condition?
On the Gonet Mono Foil , not much feedback yet, at first glance looks like another tinkering project to get more RM with dangerous outboard guillotine foils. Say the AC and these things like the Gonet & AC75 work , they are still dangerous vessels to sail on board or to their side or within their pathways.
