Impressive perfomance by Billy & Marie once again, and also for Lange-Carranza holding 2nd place.
Pity on Aruba van der Velden-Visser and their 3 DNF, they were so close after a good start. Puerto Rico still 1 spot short.

Nice recovery by Waterhouse-Darmanin with a final 1 & 2 for ending the day 5th Overall, leaving Bundock-Curtis as the second Australian team in 8th. Still much to go though.
The Italians Bissaro & Sicouri were 3rd overall but a 30th in the last race put them 4th. Close to GBR & ARG.
Besson & Riou are leading with a good maring of 25pts.

Aruba van der Velden & Visser had 3 ‘DNF’ and their chances to secure their ticket to Rio is harder now, a pity as they were doing an excellent job. Comments by Thijs on their fb page:”We had a really tough day today! An incident at the first top mark of the first race and lost 3 races + protest. On the last race of the day we where first at the top mark, first at the gate, but lost it all in the second lap.

*1-FRA, 2-ARG, 3-GBR, 4-ITA, 5-AUS, 6-NZL, 7 SUI, 8-DEN, 9-AUT, 10- NED

There are 15 Countries and 10 slots to assign in the Gold Fleet (34 boats). 
USA will need to grab their place next year, as Newberry & Casey got 1 place short for the Gold.
