F18 Australian Nats 2025 Final Results
Another day of light wind racing, 5-6knots reported. Max Burvill & Max Puttman (Edge / Nxt Gen Sails) were super consistent on double trap and light winds to take another Australian Nats.
A-Cat sailor Matt Homan & all round Cat racer Kris Bilston (who finished second A-Cat Classics Aus Nats past week) finished in second place, scoring four bullets for the event sailing a former Colby Scorpion / 1D platform.
Colby is sailing for Nacra now, and was not present at this regatta.
Third overall for James McDonald & Joey Randall on board a trustful Goodall C2. 4th overall and a lightweight mixed crew who did pretty well in the last two days of light winds for F16 World Champ sailors Adrian Fawcett & Jessie Dobie, Scorpion / Fawcett’s own sails.
32 boats present at Frankston Yacht Club, VIC. The Australian fleet is warming up for hosting 2025 Worlds.
