A-Cat Midwinters 2025 Final Results

Nine races in four days for this year Midwinters held at the Upper Keys Sailing Club.
Ravi Parent swept the open foiler rankings with all bullets, Mike Christensen finished second and Argie expat Axel Issel with an excellent third overall finishing ahead of the Wood brothers.

We had two more Argies present, Ian Rodger who was hit practice races, and Diego Bailardo on his first ever official A-Cat regatta he was doing quite good but a wipe-out and strap hanging left him out for the rest of the event.

Bruce Mahoney didn’t entered first races so he finished 7th overall.

In the Classics Randy Macpherson won, Valdek Kwasniewski second and Ken Marshack third overall.

Big news of the event was Randy Smythe Canard forward rudders setup, performance hard to judge from results, several mid fleet positions. We’ll try to get more info on this new setup.
