Italian A-Class Calambrone 2024
The 2024 Italian national circuit A Class regattas opened, as usual, in Calambrone (Tuscany) on 13 and 14 April. A weekend marked by high pressure, little wind and high temperatures for the period, up to 27° degrees.
First day wind came from N-NW with an intensity of around 8/9 knots. Three regattas carried out for the 36 crews who participated from all over Italy as well as our Swiss friend Bruno Biedermann.
Second day with very light wind from the southern quadrant, at the limit of 5 knots, in which the CdR managed to capitalize on two races.
In the “Classics”, with a fleet made up of 27 boats, Alessandro Rosi prevailed, ahead of Marco Radman and Andrea Ruffini, with a score that leaves no doubt. He dominated, without making any mistakes and always extremely fast with his brand new classic modified F1x DNA.
Among the 9 “Foil” Paolo Mangialardo wins, at ease both in the flight and displacement phases of the second day, ahead of Gianni Fantasia and Loris Paternolli.
First three boats in the Classics, Dna F1x, Scheurer G6, Exploder A16. In the Foils all AD3 Exploders
Marco.
