Day 5 of the 2023 A-Cat Worlds

Toulon delivered a good breeze for the Open fleet to complete two more races while the 80 boats Classic fleets wait for their turn. The other day we removed a comment on the matter as we are a bit grown in years now and don’t want to sound grumpy old man! But come on! 2015 already telling the A-Class need to run two parallel courses for a Worlds Title. Too much investment made for the sailors to attend and play the waiting game while the other fleet is sailing perfect conditions or at least completing races.

Common sense & logic seems a cliché and simple all known recipe, but the big problem within any organization including and specially gov is that is scarcely applied, if ever.

Classics did not competed today. Hopefully in 2024 they will secure or demand parallel courses if needed.

Within the Foilers fleet Kuba got a third consecutive bullet and a 4th, while Mischa two seconds, and Ravi went for his own bullet in race #10.

Bundy lost some key points today with two races pending and stormy weather expected for tomorrow as told by Gordon.

For Classics just look yesterday results, they remain unscathed..
