Nacra 17 Test Event 2023, Day 1
Day 1 for the Paris 2024 Test event at Marseille. Tough conditions as clearly seen in images above by Sander van der Borch Mark Lloyd, Vincent Curutchet / World Sailing. Darren Bundock is back, with Jason Waterhouse opting to priorize SailGp and AC, leaving Australia Sailing to decide on the fly a new helm, to join Silver medalist Lisa Darmanin to pursue a spot for Paris 2024.
Much can be said on younger options, but Bundy we think is the right choice for such a rapid decision to complete a team for this event. His experience counts, but he is currently top 3 A-Cat foiling rider.
Arg Team being represented by Majdalani & Bosco, as they had a better performance in previous two major N17 regattas and currently lead the internal Arg qualy over Lange-Travascio, still not decided and two more events pending for that spot.
