“European F16 on Lake Sainte Croix du Verdon Bauduen is a small village on the shores of Lake Sainte Croix du Verdon, located between the Mediterranean coast and the mountains of southeastern France. The setting is beautiful for the European F16.
For the first day of racing, three exciting rounds were held, with winds ranging between 8 and 15 knots. The sailing sessions took place in the late afternoon, because of the thermal breeze.
On this first day, Emmanuel Le Chapelier and Éric Le Bouedec on the Befoil F16 Carbon won all three races.
Michel Kermarec and Fanny Merelle on the Viper 1, equipped with a Befoil mast and a DS Dago Sails sail, finished 2-2-3, closely competing with the Mineur brothers, who achieved 3-3-2 with their Nacra F16 Carbon.
The next two crews are also using DS sails. Victor Benatar’s team is sailing on Viper 2 with a DS Goodall sail, and Yohan Debauque’s team is on Viper 1 with a PL sail.
Today, the start is scheduled for 3 PM, with four possible races depending on the conditions.”
I hope this article suits you.
