Day 3 Nacra 15 Europeans Nacra 17U2 Worlds

Report sent by Nathalie De Waele /RBSC

‘Today the third day of racing began. A sunny day with a clear sky and ideal wind conditions of around 15 knots greeted the participants. The morning started with the Nacra 17u24 class taking center stage. The wind conditions were near perfect, providing a level playing field for all competitors. The Nacra 17s took full advantage of the excellent conditions, with the boats flying across the water, seemingly defying gravity. After three rounds the Australian teams still dominate the score board.

In the afternoon, it was the Nacra 15s’ turn to go racing. The wind dropped a little to a light 8 knots, but they managed to sail 3 exciting races.

Race Day 3 at the EC Nacra 15 and WC Nacra 17u24 in Duinbergen was a resounding success thanks to the combination of perfect weather conditions and enthusiastic participants. The event not only showcased the skill and talent of the sailors but also highlighted the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie that makes sailing such a beloved sport.
