French F18 Nats 2023: Demesmaeker & Tas 1st
20 boats for this 2023 French Formula 18 National Championships held within Semaine de La Rochelle 2023. Photos Olivier Lophez / Semainer de La Rochelle. Nacra 15 and penty of kid cat racing too at La Rochelle, info later on this week.
Pretty tight points after nine races to define the podium with Patrick Demesmaeker & Gilles Tas with yet another title in European soil, the Belgian crew won followed by the flying Swedes, Jacob & Oscar Lundqvist. These were excelling past seasons with a older Goodall C2 showing they were on a performance trail. We need to confirm which platform they use in this regatta.
Update via Lars Linder: Jacob & Oscar sailing a brand new Goodall Akurra.
Third overall and first French crew for Cedric Bader & Yves Peters (Nacra Evo)
