Nacra 17 Hyeres 2022: Day 3 Results

Images Sailing Energy / SOF FFVOILE . Tita & banti lead again a Nacra 17 regatta, this time the Semaine Olympic Francaise at Hyeres. Nine pts ahead Gimson & Burnet after 9 races completed.
The Finish team continues to excel in the breeze. On the conditions, we’ve heard of some injuries last regatta, but not foil related. Also have feedback on how touch is the N17 in high winds and waves to yet add a DS mainsail, but again I think a short foot can be implemented with a diagonal batten / flex to allow passing through pushing it through for the crew.
This will reduce mainsail head top, and will provide much stability needed for the N17 in harsh conditions, as more than proven in the F18 or A Class upgrades.
At Hyeres, Billy Besson still getting the foiling mode pace. Waterhouse & Darmanin return to the Class, after some Sail GP races.
