A-Cat Australian Nats 2022: Day 1 Results
28 Sailors could attend to the 2022 Australian A Class Nats, divided in Classics and Foilers.
Three races held yesterday with Stevie Brewin winning two and Bundy one. James Clark the speedster and couldn’t grab a bullet, and he reported with a smile, that he is giving those two a head start…!
We want the top riders to have pressure so we will root for Clark to see if he can deliver some bullets vs the legends on the racing course.
Event being held at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron, in the Classic Division Andrew Landenberger continues his total dominance of the Classics fleets everywhere he race sailing a Classic D3 and of course his signature Landy DS.
Like above some pics of the day available by MIke Middleton at the RQYS fb, rest filled with big texts and huge logos.. ruining the photos: facebook.com/RQYS.Manly
No racing activity as usual in January here in Arg (F18 or A-Cat) as all on vacations, but today we had a perfect session with mate Mehl going for some upwind foil runs. Trying (with our own Brewins DS) to emulate Steve & Bundy , at least for me… cause Sergio has the upwind foil completely dominated, lets see if he can attend 2022 Worlds at Houston where the the top Aussies will fight Mischa, the Polish squad and a couple of local US top riders.
