What a great debut for the Nacra 17 Foiling version, it might not be the most refined foiler but can surely handle any breeze and sea state. Harsh & tricky conditions with plenty of waves and wind. Favorites Ruggero Tita & Caterina Banti confirmed their past years performance on the first Olympic Day on the N17.
Germans Kohlhof & Stuhlemmer also writing in the Olympic official diary the progressive top performance they’ve showing in the breeze.
Jason & Lisa 3rd overall withing a tight top 5 behind the Italian leaders.
2016 Gold Medalist, Argies Lange & Carranza had a good day among the Young Guns, and even gave away 2 key places in the last race.
