Sail GP Season 2: Bermuda, April 24-25, 2021

With the Americas Cup being the pinnacle of Sailing trophies, the next big thing is the next big thing. This year all the Top Guns will participate, gathering a pool of talents only seen at AC35 in Bermuda on the AC50s. Ainslie, Burling, Spithill, Outteridge and Slingsby among the top names.

First season was fun to watch and follow, this one will surpass everything without a doubt, needless to point out this past Cup at Auckland too in terms real competition. But the AC is mainly a Design & Tech contest, in that aspect, the interesting thing will be to analyze in which wind speed the F50s will foil (Word is with new Wing it will be 4-5knot TWS.. We have to see that one being a reality).

Still the new Wing will provide the already fast F50s, even more performance, and on breezy days they will swap to a smaller one. All is set for a Series that might become the biggest sailing show ever, lets see if Coutts long time dream of Super Professional Sailing series delivers.

On the sailor, Ainslie and his Team Ineos UK wiped out the fleet on their first event, will be a blast to see what Spithill and Burling-Tuke can deliver.& Sail GP Veterans Outteridge and Slingsby will be looking for some action after being left out of the last AC (still don’t get why..)
