Akurra, new F18 by Goodall Desgin unveiled

Photos by Goodall Design Fb. Finally the new F18 design by Goodall Design was unveiled today. Looking good, with more volume, new rudders, we expect daggers too as seen on the initial renders, and of course the key performance feature of moving the case forward.

The Akurra features C2/Capricorn proven beam profiles and we need to confirm if mast bend/ stiffness has changed. Sails are also from the renown Australian builder, which is delivering a complete inhouse designed & built racing package

Italy F18 Worlds 2021 might see a green light (or not) on March 31st, we really hope to have a Worlds this year, with two new F18s on the verge to be tested in a major event, time ahead in the Formula 18 Class looks bright.
