Emeric Dary & Paul Nor plan for a Channel Crossing record attempt
Emeric Dary is an experienced F18 sailor and long time follower of CSN. Together with Paul Nor they are training on Team Homkia Nacra F20FCS to prepare a a Channel Crossing record attempt.
Route will be Cowes – St Malo. Emeric reports on their plans:

“As soon as the covid will be gone and the European border open we will reach the UK and do a channel crossing record attempt. We have bought one of the ex BAR Nacra 20 FCS and we have upgraded with new sails and trampoline.
The new DS really brings an amazing boost for the foiling mode. the DS jib is lower and more appropriate to fly along a flatter gennaker which translate on a more smooth high speed handling.
The top coming races for this boat will be: Eurocat, Bol d’Or and Texel.
There should be as well this year a Nacra F20 world championship if the covid permits.
We have the budget for the channel crossing andwe would like to do the middle sea but we need some more funding, but right now we are focused on our first goal.
Keep you informed”.
Cheers,
Emric Dary
