F18 Costarmoricaine Raid 2020: Win for Ferrari & Moreau
A relief seeing more activity each day in Europe. This weekend the 2020 Costarmoricaine Raid was held by CVB Erquy, home club for Class President Olivier Bovyn and host venue of the 2000 and 201o Worlds.
Francis Ferrari & Frederic Moreau sailing the brand new Nacra F18 Evolution won after two long distance regattas. Second place for Arthut Boc-Ho & Laetitia Lefevre also racing an Evo.
Third place for Cedric Fleury & Ben Amiot riding an Infusion Mk2 with standard mainsail.
Spoke with Olivier and he was happy with the 20 boat fleet, which is a great number to aim to return to normal life. He also confirmed that 4th place went to Cédric and Delphine Fluery (1st Mixed last year in Costa Brava F18 Worlds) onboard a Cirrus R no DS.
He pointed out too how good to see the Daval brothers sailing a 20 years old Diam, pretty well maintained, finishing 8th overall.
