Team New Zealand AC50 (& AC75): 3D Print, Phase II

Click images for slideshow + 1600px size. – Additional progress on the AC50 details, now with initial Wing version (lots of work pending for both models) plus the form beam fairings and central pod structure. Also more parts on the cockpits and the wheel. Trying to replicate every detail, foils have a proper section, ribs structural design, and same with rest of components, all parts being done from scratch in Fusion 360, free trial available here.

On the AC75 I went now for the rig and started with deck details like aft deck support and else. Still much to go for the AC75 but it will be complete like the AC50 in details , hopefully .. 3D printing these models will be a challenge on the tiny details.

Will keep refining files and details as the Lockdown here in Arg will continue now till May 10 without any sailing in sight for the moment. Aside cases are somehow controlled right now on the quarantine , (around 190 deaths) the economic situation was already a mess before the Pandemic and now this is getting nasty for the future, not looking good in that aspect sadly, 2020 is already a lost year.

International flights here in Arg are also forbidden till September, this totalitarianism tendency in many govs is getting out of proportions, I agree with quarantine initial steps but things will get complicated with undefined lockdowns. Liberty . total Rights & Economy recovery will tough.

Great modeling. Do you know why the AC50 has the rudder horizontal winglets going down and the AC75 has elevator winglets going up?
