Sail GP: New High Wind Rig unveiled

Photo published by Sail GP Team USA fb. The AC50 and currently the F50s have shown a tremendous range of operation from 5 to +25knots, still in the higher range the platforms look a bit overpowered. Adding an alternative Wing its a great safety / performance feature but the soft sails a la GC32 & AC75 provide a more versatile on the fly trim for unexpected wind changes, for ie if wind gets lighter once these above are fit.

For those fierce days in the UK waters these wings above will surely provide less drag and better handling.
