Archipelago Raid 2018: Karlsson & Nordblom 1st

All images Malcolm Hanes / Stockholm Archipelago Raid, complete gallery here. Fredrik Karlsson & Niklas Nordblom won yesterday the 2018 Stockholm Archipelao Raid edition. 8 stages completed in four days within one of the most beautiful and demanding course race the F18 can deliver. Beauty on the scenery and tough literally on the rocks!
This race is already a Classic and one of the must do within the F18 annual calendar.

Second place for Patrick Demesmaeker  & Vincent Thery only 1 pt behind the winners. Third overall for Leff Dahl & Ida Svensson.

For the winners it was a super consistent race, all top 3 places minus the first stage. Karlsson & Nordblom attended the Greek F18 training camp organized by Danny & Kostas, and it seems the hours invested were worth. Aside navigation you still have to go fast in these regattas and winning over Euro F18 Champ Patrick Demesmaeker it’s a nice achievement for them.
