F18 Europeans 2018 @Costa Brava, Day 2 Belgium was two – neal behind Japan today at the World Cup in Russia, but the Red Devils reacted in the last minutes to win 3-2 to secure a quarter final spot against Brasil.
Not the case for the 2018 Europeans as only we are on the second day or racing, but the Belgian flag also stormed the fleet with 3 bullets. Two for Henri Demesmaeker-Morgan Wirtz (C2 / Goodall DS) and one for Martin-Gaté (R2/Northrop DS).
Patrick Demesmaeker-Gilles Tas (C2 / Goodall DS) also recovered the drive to score 10, 3 & 2 for the day.
First photo above, BEL 3, is Henri D & Wirst starting like best of them.
Paschalidis-Trigonis managed to maintain the lead, defending with 2,2 & 5. While Burvill-Puttman (Edge / Next Gen) left some pts behind with 3,5 & 7.
6 races have been completed in excellent sailing conditions , 1 discard has entered in play now. Overall lead for the Greeks, followed by Henri & Morgan and 3rd for the Aussies.
