Nacra 17s @Kiel Week 2018: Gimson & Burnet 1st

All images  www.segel-bilder.de / Kiel Week. John Gimson & Ann Burnet have been fighting for the top spots this 2018 season with a 3rd in Medemblik and  5th at Marseille & Hyeres.
Confirming their aim for the podium , the British crew won today at Kiel Week over a talented pack of Nacra 17 top crews like Rio 2016 silver medalists  Waterhouse-Darmanin and bronze helm Thomas Zajak & Barbara Matz.
Gimson-Burnet scored a 6th in the medal race, 12pts against on the last race double scoring, but enough to win the regatta by 1pt.

Nathan & Haylee Outteridge, on their first N17 racing together finished in 9th overall. They will also compete at the 2018 N17  Europeans & Worlds.
