Nacra 17 @Palma 2018: Day 4 Results
All images Jesús Renedo / Sailing Energy / Trofeo Princesa Sofia – 3 More races held today Thursday at Palma Mallorca, for the 49 Trofeo Princesa Sofia. First two in light winds and 10-12 for the last one. Saxton-Boniface and Martinez-Maslivets took the best scores top position themselves in 2nd & 3rd overall.
Tita & Banti continue to lead after 12 races, 6 from the qualifying stage. Italy, Spain , Argentina and New Zealand have placed two crews each on the top ten.
The highlight is clearly Majdalani & Bosco, the young Arg crew fighting 1 to 1 at the highest level, they were ahead of Lange after 12F.
Also Bressani & Zorzi from Italy, haven’t seen them much in the Nacra 17 Class or other Multihull one. Their fellow crew Tita & Banti showed already last year top 3 level.
One more day of racing pending and then the Medal Race.
