Seeing the footage, Spithill is bearing away and when he sees leeward bow starts getting deep he steers to windward causing the capsize. Really critical point of sailing , more with the extreme ‘Nose Down’ trim of the AC50s and AC45Ts. Good to know no one was hurt.
