All photos Jesús Renedo / GC32 Championship Oman 2017 – First day for the inaugural joined GC32 Championships, an unofficial ‘Worlds’ indeed for the Class. 11 teams present from both European & Extreme Series circuit. Oman Air leads after 5 races held today at Muscat. Second place for SAP Extreme Sailing and third overall for Alinghi with Bertarelli at the helm. Ernesto’s multihull experience is paying at the helm, I doubt many other top notch teams owners can a handle a GC32.
Team Engie with Sebastien Rogues at the helm and three french F18 sailors onboard (Bontemps, Amiot & Joubert) holds 5th place.
