“Tonight the 2016 Australian Hobie Cat® Nationals presentation dinner was held in the Fraser Room of the Hervey Bay Boat Club. After and excellent dinner the top ten place getters were announced and then the awards were presented to the top three teams.
Cam Owen and Susan Ghent from Western Australia won the Hobie 16 Open and Masters divisions. In a very close finish Darren Smith and Josie Mark also from Western Australia came in second place in the Open and Masters with Fletcher and Georgia Warren-Myers making a huge charge through the pack to snatch third place in the Hobie 16 Open division. Andrew Keag and Helen Warneke came third in the Hobie 16 Masters.”
