F18 Europeans 2016 @Brest: Day 3
All photos Claude Breton – Day 3 complete gallery at F18 Fb – Patrick Demesmaeker & Gilles Tas got the lead back from the Inufsion ‘gang’. The Belgian crew keep scoring low and consistent with 2,2 & 1 for the day. The regatta so far has been quite competitive for the top 3, but they’ve managed on their Goodall Design C2 to establish a 10pt gap with Vandijk & de Waard and 12pts ahead of Delnooz & van Leeuwen.
Manu & Jean Boulogne putting down several top tens but not consistent enough to get a better position overall. Nevertheless a father & son crew might be one of the best experience outhere for sailing dads, more if you’ve designed and built your own F18, the Cirrus R.
Tight battle for Fourth: Ferrec-Delaplace head to head with Smith-Heuser , 51 & 52pts plus a dnf / ufd respectively in the last race.
