ALl iamges Laurens Morel / Saltycolours.com – Full galleries from the week by Laurens Morel at Nacra Sailing Fb – If the Spanish trials couldn´t be completed on the water as Iker was injured at past Worlds in February , at least Fernando Echavarri & Tara Pacheco take good care to show they are up to the challenge to represent Spain and defend the very same Gold Echavarri grabbed at Beijing, scoring a win over the top crews at Hyeres.
Olympic campaign are long haul projects and what really counts once your are qualified is how you perform at Rio. The spanish team is finding their rhythm with a few months from the final goal.
Their confidence will boost in this last critical stage. Same for the Dutch crew , Mulder & deKoning.
From the usual teams dominating past years the Italian s continue to show they are candidates.
