Extreme Series @Cardiff 2015: Day 3, The Wave Muscat Leads
All Images Extreme Sailing Series. Good breeze again for Saturday giving the good old X40s conditions to show interesting runs like those first X40s Series that were a blast to see and follow. The organization has realized though they need to move on and update to foiling boats (more info here) if they want to stay as the top Pro Multihull event aside the AC.
From CSN we’ve been shouting out for the GC32 several times, we’ll see which boat they choose for 2016. Common sense move by Turner to maintain this series alive , the previous Show was lost, not even on the foiling but on the venues selected. Good to see Mitch Booth involved again.
On the competition Wave Muscat leads but Waterhouse has taken Red Bull to a new level, they finished the day with 3 bullets and a 2nd. Remember also Jason gave as helm RB first event. The kid is top notch, Burling & Outteridge level in my view, great future for him. Hope to see him at Punta Ala fighting against Brewin and others for 2015 A-Cat Worlds.
