A-Class Worlds Punta Ala 2015: 140 entries.. and Counting
The A-Class is experiencing a big transition going from floating to foiling mode since 2011.It is a huge change and all positions are quite reasonable, but the A-Class being The development Class by excellence, it has to follow the innovation Path at the end of the day.
How the Class transits that process is another matter all together.
But facts continue to prove that interest in the As are peaking, beyond the “decrease in popularity and fleet numbers” envisioned by many, the US fleet is booming and in Europe we will have at least 140 A-Cat fleet, if I’m right, biggest Worlds ever for the Class, and some inscriptions pending, Arg crews still looking to confirm charters for instance.
If you haven´t seen yet the 2015 NAs Short Film (Top Catsailing clip Ever, made by Nick Browers / Kettle Cinema) , better take a good look, and get why the As are such a great weapons to sail, floating or flying mode.
