French F18 Nats 2015: Frederic Duthil & JC Mourniac Champs

Nothing changed that much on the overall the final day as only 1 more course was completed. (So I will leave same great pics by Eric from yesterday, reposting that ‘superbe’ photo from the winners).

Position were the same but Nevertheless the fight for the title was pretty tight with a 1pt gap for each of the 3 top spots of the podium previous the 9th and final race of the event.
Experience counted in the end and Frederic Duthill & Jean Chritophe Mourniac won the 2015 French Nats ending the 9th R in 2nd place, followed by Tim Mourniac-Pierre Yves Durand , and Riwan Perron & Solune Robert keeping things frozen in the overall even for Manu Bouogne & David Fanouillere.

Saturday’s report:
Father & Son fighting for the French F18 Crown. Yesterday it was Tim Mourniac & Pierre-Yves Durand leading, now after 8 races, Frederic Duthill and Tim’s father and long time F18 sailor Jean Cristophe Mourniac are leading (Cirrus R) , the the formers in 2nd place (C2) only 1 point behind and the winners of Carnac 2015, Perron-Robert (Infusion) in 3rd place, also 1 pt gap.
Manu Boulogne & David Fanouillere 4th overall (Cirrus R) with a 6pts diff with Perron.
