Grand Prix l’Armistice 2014 @Bordeaux: Haineville-Hainveille 1st
Another win for the Haineville bros within the French F18 season. I lost the account on how many races they have won this year. They are sailing a Cirrus R with new Performance factory sails replacing the SI ones.
Second place for Jolann Neiras & Aontoine Rucard, 3rd for a future contender helm Tim Mourniac & Pierre Yves-Durand this time in crewing position. In 4th place the also talented youth Lois Berrehar & Hugo le Pomelec.
With all these kids racing at top local level (plus several top tens at Bangor Worlds) the French F18 fleet has its future secured.
In the A-Cat Jean Louis le Coq won, followed by Jean Darnaude & Thierry Boisbouvier. 24 boats in each Class. Plus the F16s racing in the C1 fleet with usual podium visitors Emmanuel le Chapelier & Eric le Boudec in 1st place. Henri Demesmaeker & Emilevan Holsbeke 2nd and 2014 European Champs Kim Anne le Formal & Benjamin Amiot 3rd.
Strong Multihull fleet at Cercle Voile Bordeaux, (A-Cat Euros 2014) , a perfect place to race, only comment again are lack of pics, such a Club and with all these big events needs to show what is going on the water.
