F18 Worlds 2014 @Ireland: Ferry/Transport info

As reported during the week, some big names were present at the Eurocat racing in the F18, as the Class remains as the best choice & Open alternative to test your double handed skills. This year the Worlds will be held at Bangor, Northern Ireland and it will provide the grounds to develop the local Class as done with Hungary, LA and Buenos Aires in 2016.

Eurocat 2014: The course & Long distance racing at Carnac
had great racing conditions, and next year I think we will raise the numbers again for sure. as the new Olympic class has seen an enormous growth, but I think we will see the peak this year.
The star at Carnac was rookie Multihull sailor Morgan Lagraviere, sailing with former F18 WC Arnaud Jarlegan. I posted an image of them before the event and told Morgan I was going to give him some exposure, Lagraviere is a former 49er sailor like Iker and also the new Safran IMOCA 60 skipper.

He ‘learned’ to race F18s at Carnac, and with Arnaud ended 4th on the course racing and won the Long Distance in F18.
Both will be present at Ireland and will aim for the title, along the Sach brothers, the Cirrus R Father & Son squad of Mourniac & Boulogne, Goodall, Reiss, Larsen , Piggot and many others including Thomas Normand & Antoine Joubert, that showed some good potential for the top spots at Carnac Match Racing the entire course with Iker Maritnez & Fer van West for their bullet.
