F18 French Nats 2014, Day 2: Haineville-Haineville lead
Close racing after 6 ‘manches’ completed. Charles Haineville & Maxime Haineville are leading by 3 points over Gurvan Bontemps & Benjamin Amiot, who won today’s 3 races .
Charles is also racing in the new Diam 24 Trimaran Circuit.
Third place for Thomas Normand & Antoine Joubert followed close behind by the kids that I told you were going to perform: Lois Berrehar & Hugo Le Pomelec. Both crews showed lots of potential at Carnac.
I think all these French crews (but Haineville) will be going to Ireland Worlds in July along the Boulogne & Mourniac teams, currently 6th & 7th overall respectively. Making for a strong French contingent to defend the title Besson & Lagarrigue grabbed at Grossetto 2013.
Top ten below. I made from the results pics sheet. Images & Full results available at French F18 Assoc FB.
