Nacra 17 @Miami WC: Bissaro-Sicouri Champs

Images by Laurens Morel / saltycolours.com More here. || Vittorio Bissaro & Silvia Sicouri dominated the last 5 races of the event with three bullets, a 2nd and a 10th, putting 12pts gap over Zajac-Frank and 30 on Saxton-Diamond. The Italian team managed to put 3 boats in the Medal Race and they will pressure the Dutch / French squads in the European leg.

Glad to see Vittorio making the transition from being F18 Youth WC / 3rd overall in 2011 with Lamberto Cesari, to start the Mixed  Olympic campaign with Silvia Sicouri, that has her own F18/F16 circuit experience & family legacy.

The Live tracking showed they were having extra speed, and the hard work from last Nacra 17 season is paying off. The European legs at Palma / Hyeres will be the real deal though, and the Italian teams are looking good to secure a slot for Rio at next N17 Worlds at Santander in Spetember.
