Another day of good wind at Takapuna, Glenn Ashby scored 2 & 1 to consolidate his lead after discarding a Dnf. He had doubts the first day in light weather about his equipment as Outteridge had an edge on his flying Exploder in those conditions but when the breeze is on, the Dna is responding for him and the entire Team New Zealand squad that are taking 4 out of the top 5 after 6 races.
Blair Tuke had 3&2, and Burling 1&15 to complete the top 3 overall. Landy with his standard floating Exploder continues his consistency raid with 4&4 for a 4th overall, only point behind Tuke and pairing with Burling. Anderson still in shape with the same equipment holding 6th overall.
Nathan with 6 and some issues surely for a 48 in the final race. Heemskerk keeps improving in the overall with 7 & 5 for an 8th ov.
Three more races scheduled for the weekend. Friday will be reserve day.
More info later.
