Palma World Cup Day two: 3 Races completed
Images from practice race Mandy-Thijs & Thomas-Tanja by Laurens Morel www.saltycolours.com | Finally they could race today. After 3 races and following official scoreboard (I have doubts on the discards applied at this stage, and didn´t found detailed info on the docs, will confirm later) Mandy Mulder & Thijs Visser are leading, 2nd the vertical lift masters Thomas Zajac-Tanja Franck , trying to handle those take offs payed off! and third Renee Groenveld-Karel Begemann.
Without the discard Thomas & Tanja lead.
Great having Tanja showing the way between two highly experienced male F18 crews like Thijs and Karel (World & Vice World F18 Champs) The NED teams have been training for months at Palma and it is also paying off. Great work for the Dutchies.
16-18knots reported. Tight scoreboard with many talented crews. Bissaro-Sicouri had a good comeback and the Argies were mid fleet and a DNF. NED, FRA teams in the leading pack and excellent start for two GBR teams. More info later.
