Another great day, and we are counting 4. Only Tuesday was light ,choppy mess. The rest has been just perfect. Best start of the event for us on the second, Champagne sailing, perfect double confortable trapeze conditions, flat water, we were crossing tacks in front with Baeckler on his Cirrus (James is dominating the Silver on having 3 dnc on the gral) , arrived around 5th to the 1st mark, mantain rythm previous to the final short upwind leg where once again we messed up badly, and ended 24.
Today they changed our tracker, but it seems it didn´t work again… I wanted to review our good moments at least! In the last race we had some minor issue and we just cruise to finish line.
Learning a lot, specially this outer-inner course with long reachs we rarely sail at home on the F18 , plus how to start on large fleets. Truly a great experience for every F18 sailor to participate at least in 1 Worlds.
Big crash (heard all over the place) today that left Jason and Brett out for the day. On top of the Gold things are getting defined but still 3 more to come tomorrow. Images to come, I hope…
