A-Class: German Nats 2011 at Lake Ammer
Sent by Rainer Bohrer–Announcement –
Upcoming German Championship 2011 in Utting lake Ammer.
From 7th to 9th of October 2011 the TSV Utting Wassersport in association with the German A-Class-Division (VDAC) organises the German Championship (Internationale Deutsche Bestenermittlung 2011, short IDB 2011). 50 + international top-sailors are expected to participate at up to 9 races within three days. There is no clear favourite for the regatta, however the following sailors have the best chances depending on the wind condition: Bob Baier, (GER, Füssen), Chris Fields (GBR) und Thomas Paasch (DEN). Matthias Dietz (GER), the new Int. Italian Champ Helmut Stumhofer (GER, Chieming) and the light wind expert Sascha Wallmer (CH) have also good chances.
The IDB 2011 starts one week after the regatta of the Oktoberfest (1st and 2nd October), which is organised by the Seglervereinigung Breitbrunn e.V. That result will give good advice about the performance of the participants.Furthermore, the VDAC is celebrating its forty anniversaries during the German Championship 2011.
