X40s: Back to Qingdao for the Tornado gang
Photo: Lloyd Images
Deja Vu for the first day of racing at Qingdao.
Ashby, Lange, Hagara, Steinacher and Howden are back at the historic last Tornado Olympic race venue.
Santi Lange replacing Hutchinson, and debuting as a skipper in excellent form, no wonder they put him on the helm this time. Bronze medal in 2008 with Camau Espínola, where Darren Bundock and Glenn Ashby (currently racing with TNZ ) were Silver. Current Tornado WChamp and ITA president, Roland Gaebler is also racing with the Exteme Team. No more pics available yet.

I want to se a fight between the Extreme 40 and the AC 45.
not a chance
The Battle for Audience, between the X40 and the AC45 fleets, is underway! X40s make 4 offensives while AC45s still mobilizing counterattack at Cabo da Roca in August, hoping secret weapons will desimate X40 fleet in the Solent!
