It didn´t start right for Thomas, with a hard pitch that almost ends the record attempt minutes after the start. Finishing with a destroyed ama bow, it was not possible for him to beat Francis Joyon record, nevertheless it was a possibility considered and the real achievement is coming back sailing in one piece… well, sort off.
Hardcore sailor if any, Thomas Coville is one of the few men that can relate directly to the greatest seaman of any era.
