F16 1st Worlds

The Formula 16 is now a recognized international isaf class. After some ‘Global Challenges’ is time for their first Worlds.

A growing alternative with several designs like the Blade, AHPC Viper, Falcon, AquaRaptor and the Stealth.
The rules allow to race singlehanded with main and spi against the standard two crew main, jib and spi conf. Although a good alternative as sometimes is quite hard to find crews, a singlehanded is still to win a race in major regattas (to my knowledge).

    The GC champion held a few years ago in Holland was singlehanded.
