Nacra: Gunnar Larsen F18 clinic in Argentina

The Nacra boss is coming to Argentina in October for the “Buenos Aires Week” , organized by the Yacht Club Argentino, with more than 300 hundred sailors , SBA is the biggest championship in South America.
Local dealer, Mariano Heuser, invited Gunnar to meet our fast growing fleet and also to give some free clinics at the event and open talks with other sailors to promote the F18 Class.
In Argentina we have a majority of Infusions racing and now several local made Capricorns. The original Racecat fleet that founded the class was replaced by the imported top guns. Also as mentioned before, we have two special boats , Bundy’s C2 and Mischa´s Wildcat.

We expect to gather 20 boats at this championship.
So for us having Gunnar coming is a recognition for the work being done by local sailors promoting the class, work that peaked at Erquy 2010 Worlds with 5 Argentine boats at the starting line. (consider we are a new fleet and the travel and boat expenses from SAmerica)
The fleet will give Gunnar a deserved welcome … on land, as he will be racing too and today he predicted a win, but locals will be pushing hard to give the regular world top 5 helmsman and Nacra CEO, a run for his money!
