Jack O’Neill: A Waterman’s Legacy

What a great life story for a truly complete waterman. For instance catsailors owe him those cold winter sessions. We owe many things to surfers like Jack and of course Hobie Alter. Left: Jack onboard.
Surfing as a kid, I always liked to read about the legends in surf mags, one of them was Jack O’Neill, the inventor of the wetsuit as we know it today , he also made the 1st beach sailor (didn´t knew that one after seeing this video) among other “firsts”. Of course I had my O’Neill wetsuits too, one of the brands that I always trusted more. Also a sailor, Jack has now a 65′ foot catamaran (which other saiboat a surfer can have?) that is currently being used for his O’Neill Odyssey project for letting new generations to learn , appreciate and care about the ocean and the environment, this and some great moments of our lifestyles are part of Jack O’Neill´s legacy.
