Chairman Sidny van Zon just spoke to the crowd: “We have had a fantastic sailing week, but unfortunately we cannot control the weather. The combination of a strong northwesterly and a wild surf makes it irresponsible to send you out on the water.” The sailors applauded to confirm the wise decision.”
