The Arg fleet continued this past weekend with the Worlds training in some big regattas at home.
Today I raced with a local Capricorn after patching a broken bowsprit the day before, with an ex 49er sailor and Lighting 3x Arg Champ at the helm, Gabriel Berberian, now full immersed with the F18.
We didn´t arrived on time for the 1st one of the day as I was repairing it, and on the last race we were in a comfortable 4th till the Spi haylard stuck badly at the top mark, and we gave away 3 spots in the final downwind leg! The Cap was pointing real well and we had good speed in tricky 4-6knots conditions, we end the regatta with 1-2knots!
Cruz and Mario had a super regular regatta with a 3rd as their worst result. The Infusion where I was skipper last week, ended 2nd overall but they lost some good opportunites and had a 4th in race 8…
With this new converted rider the local Class continues the conversion of the monohull infidels…
